Project Overview:

ExpoImaging is a California-based company specializing in cutting-edge products and accessories for professional photographers, most notably, the "ExpoDisc." They originally recruited Sleepless Media several years ago to rebuild a proprietary backend content management system, add multi-language functionality and take over hosting for their existing site. This time around, we did a full redesign of all the graphics / look & feel, as well as a revamp on their multi-language CMS and added a fully customized osCommerce shopping cart into the mix.

We're extremely pleased with the finished design, which offers both edgy graphics and a slick Web 2.0 interface that provides the perfect vehicle to showcase their cool products and the ever-growing amount of information they provide. The page layouts and navigation for the site are were carefully created to maximize the user experience and ease-of-use and their backend content management features multi-language capabilities which gives them control of virtually everything on the site. This time around, we opted to replace their existing minimalstic shopping cart for a feature-packed version of osCommerce, and on top of that, we custom-programmed a special "bundle" module feature so they can group two products together for a discounted price.
